Because you know you were meant for more than the mundane!!!

For the last 20 years learning what helps people get well and stay well has become a passion of mine. Looking at their environment, diet, mindset, habits, internal health and also level of toxicity in the body are all important factors when it comes to improving your level of wellbeing.

I will never forget when I started to learn about the power of detoxing your body. How years of undigested food, fecal matter, chemicals and preservatives from our food or products we use can build up in our system, and the only way to rid our body of it, is to give it a good spring clean, just like we would our home.

Health pioneers such as Bernard Jensen, Anne Wigmore and Don Tolman have spoken about the benefits of cleansing the body for decades, which is what set me off on the path to learn more. To the point that I ran detox programs for clients in the USA and Europe and then opened my own Detox Lounge on the Gold Coast, Australia.

In my recent podcast episode on the Power Of Detox, I promised to share some of my favourite cleansing juice recipes with you to help you on your health journey. If you haven’t already listened to the episode, you can check it out here, and get all the juice on why you even need to detox in the first place.

I’ll let you in on a stat that blew my mind!! The average person has between 400 and 800 chemical residues in the fat cells of their body, which can contribute to health issues, weight problems, hormone irregularity, energy levels and so much more.

So, with that being said, here are my 3 favourite Juice Recipes to help cleanse and detoxify your body.

Green Machine

1 Green Apple
1 Small Cucumber

1 Lemon

1 Stalk of Kale

1 piece of fresh ginger (about the size of your thumb)
2 Stalks of Celery

Ginger Zing

1 piece of fresh ginger (about the size of your thumb)
1 lemon

1 green apple

1 red apple

1 medium size fresh beetroot

Turmeric Magic

3 carrots
1 piece of fresh turmeric (about the size of your thumb)

1 piece of fresh ginger (about the size of your thumb)

1 orange

We clean our house, we get our car serviced, we get our nails and hair done……but often we neglect our body, the things that really count when it comes to wellbeing and vitality, not just the superficial stuff. The other factor we don’t always look at is what is happening in our home that could be causing health challenges.

The need to detox is big, now more than ever because of the world we live in. It’s not just because you ate some junk food a few months or years back, its because of what we are exposed to on a daily basis.
